To you too... And thanks so much for dropping. i dont believe you like O Henry... and Ismat... and Manto. Have read most short stories by Henry and its such a pleasant surprise to find that someone else likes him too. ismat's 'lihaaf' is a dear...

@Karuna
Happy Diwali again;-)

@Shivangi
At last I find somebody who shares my penchant for Manto n Ismat. While Lihaaf is a classic, have you read Chauthi ka joda? Her dexterity at sketching out such vivid and relatable characters is reflected in Bachchu Fufi or Mughal Bachcha.

And Manto? According to me he is like this God of short story writing. Toba tek Singh – the eternal shocker to Rajo and Do Kaumen and of course Thanda Ghosht…Oooh man does he rock or what…Don’t get me started on this I could go on n on…No wonder my pals take care not to utter the dreaded M word in front of me…coz more often than not its followed by a sermon…till they commit suicide or plain die out of tedium.

And ya thanx for the description bit...(Altho a close one thinks that it has the word - WANNABE written all over it in caps;-)
